Responsibilities:
• Perform research that enables learning of human audio patterns in various environment.
• Publish research reports to patent office. Minimum Qualifications:
• Currently has or is in the process of obtaining a PhD degree in the field of Audio Engineering and Signal Processing, Acoustics, Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field
• 3 years experience in solving analytical problems using quantitative approaches
• 3 years experience manipulating and analyzing complex, high-volume, high-dimensionality data from varying sources
• Ability to communicate research in an actionable manner
• 3 years experience in matlab, Python, C/C or other related language such as Torch and TensorFlow
• Interpersonal skills: cross-group and cross-culture collaboration
Preferred Qualifications:
• Proven track record of achieving results as demonstrated in publications in Audio processing, machine learning, AI, statistics, applied mathematics, data science
• Demonstrated software engineering experience via an internship, work experience, coding competitions, or widely used contributions in open source repositories
• Background in time-frequency domain signal processing (for e.g. speech processing) and acoustics patterns (Reverberation, Dereverberation, SNR…).
