• Analyze and recommend BD strategies, deal structures, market demands for the company’s products
• Lead and conduct searches for strategic partners
• Lead negotiations with strategic partners for out licensing of the company’s products
• Understand and communicate valuations of the company’s products and bridge differences with partners via creative deal structures
• Create and manage contract term sheets and agreements
• Prepare and present at international partnering and business development meetings and conferences
• Collect business intelligence and documentation
Requirements:
• At least 5 years of experience in pharmaceutical, medical device, or diagnostics in/out licensing business development, including creation of terms sheets and license agreements
• Masters degree in business administration. First degree in sciences preferred but not mandatory.
• Proven ability to understand and communicate the scientific rationale and underlying mechanism of action of pharmaceutical products, as well as the commercial positioning of the products
• Excellent presentation skills in English, with the ability to deliver the main message in a succinct and clear manner
• Proven experience to working in cross-functional teams
• Self-motivated and self-starter with a “hands-on” approach
• Experience in project management – time planning & tracking, resources and budgeting
• English at mother-lounge level %28reading, writing speech, and presentation skills%29
• Self-driven with open and interactive personality
Preference given to candidates who:
• Education in biology/pharmacy/chemistry/ medicine %28PhD or MD preferred%29
• Experience in licensing deals in pharma
• Have worked outside of Israel in a top pharmaceutical or healthcare company
