We are looking for an experienced Solutions Executive to drive the organization’s operational development including channel partnerships in the areas of Consumer Finance and BNPL. You will be responsible for developing and honing innovative operational solutions in the payments and transactions space as well as forming commercial partnerships for the distribution of our offering. This role involves working hand-in-hand with Bizdev, Product, R&D, Commercial, Legal and Compliance in addition to working with external suppliers and partners.
The Director of Solutions will report directly to the Chief Solutions Officer. You will develop and maintain a detailed understanding of diverse and changing fintech capabilities, offerings and trends and work with internal and external stakeholders to identify lucrative opportunities, construct solutions for potential opportunities and drive these projects through to fruition. Success will be facilitated through excellent people skills, strong business acumen and intense effort.
The goal of this position is to develop the operational infrastructure to drive extensive growth and scalability within our company and to leverage these relationships for channel partnerships.
Stay up to date with payment market developments, emerging trends and solutions
Work with internal and external stakeholders to determine business opportunities and develop solutions for these potential opportunities
Interface with Legal and Compliance to determine feasibility of solutions
Independently research and harness alternative technologies and capabilities suitable for current challenges and opportunities
Establish relationships with external suppliers, partners and vendors to enable development of solutions
Develop and maintain relationships with suppliers and partners
Engage vendors, partners in joint business development initiatives
Formalize long term channel partnerships
Negotiate commercial and operational terms of partner/vendor contracts
Assess, drive and manage operational change and migration projects
Develop operational processes, procedures and capabilities to enable smooth launch on project fruition
Introduce new systems and processes to the operations and product teams, training the team where necessary
Participate in expansion activities (acquisitions, corporate alliances, licensing etc.)
Set up new card programs in collaboration with processor, issuer and network
Extensive experience in the payments and transactions industry preferably with experience in working for one of the major global payment networks
Proven experience in operational development related roles
Understanding of business functions across large organizations
Demonstrable competency in business and business model development
Working knowledge of IT/Business infrastructure suitable for Fintech environment
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
Aptitude in decision-making and problem-solving
Team player but with the ability to work independently
Big picture thinking but strong attention to detail
Results driven, effective project management skills
Fluent English speaker
