The Engineering manager will have a full responsibility to all engineering related activities,NPI from early stage of development, DFX, component engineering, sustaining engineering, production engineering, Revision control through all product life cycle.
Work with cross functional teams, ranging from HW designers, system engineers, marketing, operations teams, vendors & subcontractors.
Participating in the complete product life cycle from development, build prototype, testing and certifications, through production sustaining engineering stage, field deployment processes and quality of the product & production.
You will be responsible for:
• Lead cross functional teams to execute the NPI process within the operations group.
• Set an overall Operational NPI & Engineering plan, Set Ops’ KPI’s, Track and follow project progress, manage risk and report accordingly.
• Ensure DFX, Design for Manufacturing, Assembly, Testing, Service, Quality are well implemented in the product design during PDR/DR/CDR and validate implementation impact on product quality
• Overall accountability of production files, production data integrity including: BOM, production documentation, jigs and tools, subcontractors training, product regulations.
• Analyze and recommend improvements to all production processes and methods to facilitate
cost reduction and quality improvement through engineering change requests ECOs on Arena PLM
• Serve as a technical mentor to contract Manufacturing during NPI process & production –
Education, Skills and Experience
• Degree in Electrical or Mechanical engineering – Must.
• At least 5 years in Manufacturing engineering; including NPI experience in multidisciplinary companies – Mandatory
• Project management capabilities, proven direct and matrix managerial skills – Mandatory
• Proven experience and knowledge in manufacturing technologies (Machining, Sheet metal, Casting, extrusion, Plastic molds, PCB, PCBA, IPC)

• Strong written and verbal communication skills to work internally and externally at all levels of an organization (English) – Must!
• High level of presentation skills and hands-on capabilities – Mandatory
• Familiar with printing industry or other robotic multidisciplinary systems – an advantage
• Excellent interpersonal skills, high motivation, ability to work under pressure
