The Manager of Information Technology is responsible for developing and executing the technology strategies, policies and procedures to carry out the Company’s, strategic goals and business plans. This person will lead the company’s Application and Infrastructure functions ensuring the technology strategy is aligned with the long term strategic goals, to ensure the Application and Infrastructure foundation is established to support our growth plans and assist in establish technology solutions on a global basis. She/he will work closely with Senior Management across all departments to identify, recommend, develop, implement and support technology solutions to enabling employee productivity and support the Company’s growth. This role will act as a strategic business partner within the organization on all Application and Infrastructure related matters. This role reports to the Vice President Global Operations.
· Responsible for development and implementation of information technology systems strategy including sales and customer service, resource planning, reporting, and communications.
· Direct the efforts of IT teams and coordinate at the strategic and tactical levels to install and maintain the system/services required to operate and support the system(s).
· Responsible for monitoring and developing process to secure enterprise system and network.
· Responsibilities of the IT Global Manager:
· Creates, implements, monitors information technology systems in support of business units’ strategy, and controls requirements.
· Develop the information technology systems vision and strategy in alignment with the company’s overall business objectives both short and long term.
· Directs the design, implementation and maintenance of IT solutions and systems that are standard systems used extensively within the corporation.
· Assesses the efficiency and effectiveness of systems to ensure user requirements are met in a timely and cost-effective manner. Identifies and recommends solutions which have enterprise wide application.
· Respond to maintenance and development requests of internal customers.
· Provide appropriate and secure information environment and infrastructure for company data and operating systems.
· Lead, plan, design and implement any major enterprise systems upgrade.
· Monitor the security of records, the reliability and integrity of systems
· Monitor and Recommend any necessary network structure changes or improvements.
· Design appropriate level of organization resources to support the growing needs of the company. Assign appropriate and clear roles and responsibilities to each IT Personnel.
· Develop IT personnel and monitor the performance of employees and vendors to the standards
· Required Qualifications of the IT Global Manager:
· Bachelor’s Degree in information technology or related discipline
· Ten years of experience in an Information Technology leadership position, with over 15 years’ experience within IT
· Project leader experience in a manufacturing environment implementing or managing enterprise systems;
· Demonstrable ability to act as a resource for other members of the Information Systems staff and client users.
· Experience in data analysis and planning.
· Able to connect highly complex topics and relate them to the business needs and exhibit Business acumen
· Experience in Network / server infrastructure set up. Recommend best solutions for multi-sites and multi-entities network structure.
· Assessment, selection and implementation of CRM, ERP, Reporting and other systems
· Assessment and development of IT systems vision and strategy
· Assessment and selection of processes and systems to drive the overall business strategy.
· Experience with consolidating and centralizing appropriate aspects of information management and processing.
· Management of a cross functional, cross Geography teams to deliver exceptional customer service
· Development and deployment of disaster recovery systems.
· Experience of developing and managing budgets.
· Ability to act as facilitator and catalyst for pragmatic and meaningful change.
· Exceptional interpersonal skills demonstrated through work with shared leadership and in cross- functional teams
· Excellent oral and written communication skills
