We are seeking a Head of Strategic Alliances who will be responsible for the management, execution, and expansion of Strategic Alliance partners The primary accountability is generating business growth through identifying partners, development of strategies to build successful business with them, closing deals and expand the relationships. This role is founded on understanding customers’ needs and the ecosystem around the products and solutions that optimizes the customer value. This position will report to VP of Strategy and Corporate Development.
JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Develops framework and criteria for identifying and selecting Partners to expand business
Works collaboratively with Product and Solutions, Marketing and Sales throughout the Alliance Lifecycle from screening through on-going management and potential retirement of Alliance Partner relationship
Develops and enhances the client relationship with assigned Alliance Partners to build engagement strategies to increase revenues for boththe company and the Alliance Partners
Coordinates executive sponsorship and relationship alignment between the company / Alliance Partners
Responsible for developing detailed business plan for assigned partner relationships
Identifies joint offerings capabilities with Alliance Partner and coordinates Go-To-Market strategy with Alliance Partners
Builds joint governance model to ensure effective alliance management and execution
Responsible for the joint plan, contracts, offerings messages and communications
Designs Sales Enablement strategies and strategic growth initiatives and communication materials associated with launching Alliance Partnerships
Serves as the focal point for escalation for issue resolution with the Strategic Partner
Responsible for leading joint the company and Alliance Partner status meetings
Qualifications
B.A. degree or equivalent
M.B.A. or equivalent advanced business degree – a strong preference
5-10 years of business experience, in Sales, Marketing, Business Development and general management
Experience in strategy consulting, or strategy/business development in large, successful global companies
Technical background in professional AV (Audio, Video), IT or telecom
History of successfully developing and leading partnerships leading to significant company growth
Entrepreneurship, Can-Do attitude, and result orientation
Excellent spoken and written communication in English, additional language a plus
Exceptional interpersonal and relationship building skills
Ability to work both independently and with a team
