Job Description & Responsibilities:
Supply Chain Management:
Responsibility for procurement, inventory & warehouse management and supplies incoming inspection.
Manage logistical operations such system dispatch & deployment, distribution of disposables, import of goods required for R&D etc.
Manage suppliers & manufacturing subcontractors including execution of quality assessment processes.
QA Aspects of Manufacturing & Maintenance:
Lead manufacturing related QA processes such as customer feedbacks, ECOs, MRBs, supplier quality assessment, etc.
Lead system manufacturing & maintenance documentation and assist in BOM & DMR management.
Assist in system manufacturing, testing & calibration.
Other Duties & Responsibilities:
Participate in development & documentation of system manufacturing & maintenance procedures such as test report forms, SOPs and work instructions.
Participate in system failure investigations resulting from lab testing, manufacturing or customer feedback.
Academic Requirements:
BSc in Industrial or Biomedical Engineering or logistics. Other academic background may be considered with equivalent industrial experience.
Personal Qualities:
A responsible, mature, self-motivated, autodidact person, capable of leading logistical activity. Must be a team player with good personal skills. Good written technical English required.
Qualifications & Experience:
4+ years experience in the medical device industry, preferably in a large company – A MUST.
Proven experience with procurement, inventory & supply management – A MUST.
Experience with logistics with respect to goods dispatch, return, customs etc. – A MUST
Experience with management of suppliers & subcontractors – A MUST.
Experience with QA processes (ECOs, MRBs, customer feedback etc.) and medical ISO 13485 & GMP – A MUST.
Experience with writing technical manufacturing documents such as SOPs, test forms & work instructions – A SUBSTANTIAL Advantage.
Familiarity with manufacturing environments and processes (calibrations, testing, maintenance etc.) – A SUBSTANTIAL Advantage.
Experience with New Product Introduction processes – A SUBSTANTIAL Advantage.
Familiarity with mechanical tools and machines & electrical measurement equipment – A SUBSTANTIAL Advantage.
Basic experience with SOLIDWORKS – A SUBSTANTIAL Advantage.
Familiarity with mechanical design workshops, CNC machines & 3D printing capabilities – An Advantage.
Experience with management of SW & configuration version environments – An Advantage.
Experience with RF & Electronic circuits – An Advantage.
Basic experience with MATLAB– An Advantage.
