Summary
The Marketing Operations Specialist will be the pre-sale point of contact for CRM and marketing automation systems and will take the lead in developing protocols, processes, and best practices for lead generation and database management. This position will be responsible for driving usage of Salesforce and Pardot within the team, developing and implementing training and providing ongoing support to the field marketing team, including tactical responsibilities for various marketing projects. The Marketing Operations Specialist will ensure that marketing activity is tracked using appropriate methods, develop reports/dashboards to measure the success of campaigns, performance and conversions, and make recommendations for improvements based on results. He or she will be forward thinking and able to take marketing to the next level in using our automation systems to improve efficiency and assess ROI of marketing activity.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities include, but are not limited to the following:
Execute and streamline marketing workflows and processes through the seamless integration of Salesforce and Pardot to generate, distribute, and report on leads.
Establish and maintain scalable processes that ensure best practices in campaign and lead management.
Analyze marketing and sales data to develop insights and make recommendations on areas for optimization.
Develop protocols, processes, and best practices to implement marketing automation and lead scoring.
Drive usage of Pardot within the marketing team and provide constant support to Field Marketing on:
Building regional campaigns.
Creation of Pardot assets (emails, landing pages, etc.)
List imports.
Connecting new prospects to Salesforce campaigns.
Support outbound email strategy, planning and execution.
Ensure marketing activity is tracked using appropriate methods, build out dashboards and develop reports to gauge marketing effectiveness.
Monitor and maintain data quality within the marketing database.
Serve as liaison with the marketing automation administrator on our “do not send” list, and work closely with business systems to maintain a robust non-customer/lead database.
Qualification/ Skills/ Experience Requirements
Education:
Bachelor’s Degree in Information Systems, Marketing, or Communication.
Experience:
1-2 years of digital marketing
Expertise with Salesforce and marketing automation platforms (Pardot knowledge is a big plus)
Proven track record of analyzing, synthesizing, and reporting on data
Skills:
Exceptional oral and written communication skills, analytical and problem solving skills
Strong work ethic; self-starter who can prioritize and excel in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment; ability to see the big picture while paying attention to details and delivering with accuracy
Ability to problem-solve/troubleshoot operational issues
Proficient in standard Microsoft programs; experience with HTML a plus
