An innovative and growing Medical Device company is looking for a Mechanical NPI Engineer to join the team.
In this role will own the mechanical engineering NPI process, interacting with all HW teams as well as manufacturers and suppliers to bring the product to mass production, as well as prepare the infrastructure, product changes and updates as needed.
Responsibilities include manufacturing and testing Jigs, supplier and manufacturing support, ramping up production lines, mechanical verification and validation, and mechanical engineering documentation.
Requirements:
· B.Sc. in Mechanical Engineering
· At least 4 years’ experience in NPI/transferring medical device products from development to production. Deep knowledge of mechanical items as well as plastic parts and support of manufacturing process.
· BOM Management and Doc Control experience
· At least 2 years of Agile PLM System experience
· Full proficiency with Solid Works, test and measurement equipment
· Technical Writing experience (Assembly drawings, Work Instructions, Procedures, SOPs)
· Experience writing development verification documents, supporting development verification processes and their implementation
· Experience in Mass Production – an advantage
· Knowledge in reliability methodologies – an advantage
· Experience with Medical/Wellness devices a must!
