Responsibilities:
• Developing methodologies for debinding and sintering processes for different types of 3D printing powders and materials
• Developing powder sintering process including understanding of failures related to process
• Developing knowledge and understanding of 3D printing and post-printing processes
• Developing new debinding and sintering methods
• Performing failure analysis and finding metallurgical solutions to process problems
• Designing, running and analyzing offline experiments to understand specific questions
Experience:
• At least 4 years of experience as a powder metallurgist employed in the industry
• Experience in complex tasks and projects – required
• Experience in printing/inkjet – major advantage
• Technological management experience – advantage
Qualifications & Skills:
• M.Sc. in material engineering from a known university – required
• Ph.D. or postdoc with experience in metallic or ceramic powders – preferred
• Self-motivated and hands-on
• Creative and innovative
• Good analytical and modeling skills
• Good communication skills
• Team oriented and comfortable working within/across different groups/disciplines
