• Dfx methodology implementation %28design for manufacturability, test, cost, serviceability, etc.%29 to ensure risks are mitigated at the design level,
working with R&D and manufacturing from initial production process planning stages to the manufacturing of prototypes and initial production of the first serial production.
• Writing work procedures and instructions, training certifying, and technically guiding the production team.
• Implement ECO%27s post-design freeze leading to and through full scale-production.
• Preparing product specifications and technical documentation.
• Troubleshooting manufacturing problems %28NCR / MRB%29, investigating production failures, and performing root causes analysis.
• Responsibility for technological equipment on the production floor.
• Develop production processes, design, qualify, document, and validate assembly & test fixtures/jigs and tools.
• Configuration management: datasets setup, BOM creation DEG update, and component engineering.
• Manage and provide guidance to mechanical design subcontractors.
• Technical POC for subcontractors %28electronics, plastics, and metals%29.
• Initiate cost reduction and production streamlining.
• Perform other operations-related tasks from time to time as directed.
• Derive optimal design in cost, yield and all DFx issues in all design activities.
• Working with mechanical suppliers.
Requirements:
• Mechanical / Industrial Engineer or related fields.
• 2-3 years of experience as an NPI leader %28more experience if an engineer%29.
• Background in the medical industry.
