The Sales Manager will be dedicated to creating and executing an effective business strategy to establish and lead the nascent market.
Our desired candidate should have the relevant experience, passion, resourcefulness, and determination to drive sustainable business growth in a completely new customer category.
To succeed, the candidate will be required to forge strong relationships with OEM´s and Technology companies, chart effective go-to-market strategies, pursue & obtain company-internal resources, and cooperate with other vital elements in the industry.
An ideal candidate should have intimate knowledge, familiarity, and network inside the Automotive industry, preferably within the motorcycle market. The candidate has to show technical competencies within selling technological solutions to this industry.
Roles & Responsibilities:
Develop and implement a multi-year sales plan, product roadmap, and resource/budget allocation with the target of generating a consistent revenue stream for the company
Pipeline management while focusing on qualified opportunities
Establish new business partnerships; develop and negotiate contracts; integrating contract requirements with marketing, R&D, and business operations.
Build and sustain strong customer relationships spanning executives to technical levels. Manage day-to-day relationships with OEM partners, including commercial, R&D, legal, financial, and marketing aspects.
Create a shared mindset with customers/partners, assess needs, and create relevant, value-added & viable solutions.
Provide market feedback about product needs direction: Lead internal interfaces and operations in order to deliver upon customer/partner requirements.
Requirements:
Past experience of at least 5 years – Manage and lead Sales: Research, pursue, and develop new, long term partnerships with OEM´s, Tech-companies, and adherent manufacturers.
Hunter mentality. Demonstrated capabilities as a “door-opener” and as a “closer”, including sales negotiations, leadership, and interpersonal skills.
Validated experience as a strategic thinker and executioner, with examples of developing strategy and converting that strategy into results.
Project management aptitude. Ability to organize and manage multiple priorities within a working B2C organization.
Outstanding presentation and negotiation skills, and ability to interface and influence at the most senior levels.
Self-motivated. A self-directed individual/Demonstrated ability to empower and drive oneself regardless of location and setup.
Ability to travel when it would be possible
Self-motivation and teamwork, ability to cultivate working relationships and to demonstrate high execution by managing tasks in a multi-interface environment
Bachelor’s degree in relevant technological fields. MBA is an advantage.
