The primary responsibility of the Planning and Inventory Manager is E2E inventory management including developing procurement forecasts of raw materials, production planning and controlling on inventory levels at the CMO’s sites and regional warehouses.
The Planning and Inventory Manager will build and work to improve planning and reporting tools to gather the demands and monitor inventory levels versus the planned procurement and production planning. Planning and Inventory Manager will flag inventory issues, work to solve possible shortages and will take part in implementation of relevant modules in ERP system.
Strong working knowledge of supply chain, manufacturing, planning and Inventory Management as well as high project management and IT skills are required.
General duties and responsibilities:
· Responsible for E2E inventory management and optimization
· Responsible for inventory replenishment
· Responsible for production plan at CMOs
· Collect and coordinate demands for all clinical trials and development departments
· Monitor inventory levels at all warehouses and CMO’s
· Create forecasts per item to share with vendors
· Monitor and manage inventory transactions
· Develop production and packaging plans and monitor impact of delays, changes and actual yield
· Ensure raw material readiness for production, safety stock per inventory policy and BOM updates
· Develop Performance Indicators %28KPIs%29 and inventory reports to track planning performance and supply risks
· Develop in-depth knowledge in relevant indications of planning, manufacturing and procurement aspects
· Map transactions, sites, BOMs and planning processes to assist and support implementation of ERP system
· Initiate efforts for improving current processes for better efficiency and faster lead time.

Education and Knowledge Requirements:
· College degree or higher, preferentially in industrial engineering
· At least 8 years of experience in a pharmaceutical industry/Medical devices/supply chain
· Global supply chain or pharmaceutical/medical development experience is a must
· Demonstrated knowledge of planning principles and inventory management
· Deep understanding of Excel
· Experience with ERP systems and Computer literate
· Fluent in English
