In the field of medical simulation, a Product Specialist position is a diverse position in its scope, interests and demands, managing both pre-sale and post-sale activities. This position requires clinical, medical and procedural exposure, understanding and knowledge, to better liaise with our various customers and understand the various aspects of the markets we work in.
Position duties:
§ Application & Training – educate and train end users on our various simulation platforms.
§ Support Sales/Marketing activities (Pre/Post Sale) such as product demonstrations, conferences and training sessions while emphasizing teaching and key Selling Points based on specific target audiences.
§ Work with doctors, clinicians and industry professionals of every level.
§ Provide support and service in coordination with Global Service personnel.
§ Understand internal processes and methodologies, gather feedback from the field in concise form and channel it to the relevant functions to facilitate constant improvement.
A Product Specialist position is essentially a sales position with marketing and technical orientation. The ideal candidate should have prior experience in a dynamic background, preferably in technical, clinical or field training. This position is fast paced and diverse. Prior clinical experience is highly valued, thus allowing the candidate to liaise intelligently with the various medical/clinical and industry professionals we work with. A Product Specialist initiates, builds and maintains relationships with our end users, distributors and industry partners through a diversified array of sales, marketing and business development activities. This position requires about 50-60% international travel.
