Medical company located in Hadera is looking for

The Production Manager directly leads the activities of the Operators in the Production area and is responsible for creating the production schedule. The Production Manager ensures production activities are executed accurately with the highest quality, meet applicable regulatory requirements, and are completed on time per the production schedule. The Production Manage is responsible for coordinating production activities between the Clinical Project group, Warehouse, Quality and Production Operators. The Production Manager works with the highest degree of accountability and customer service to ensure needs are met in a timely manner.
The job duties for the position comprise the following:
Ensure the production team is staffed with qualified and well-trained team members to ensure activities are fully executed in accordance with the approved Protocol for each specific job.
Effectively hire, manage and develop team members to build a high performing production team.
Manage team and individual performance according to specific job requirements and expectations. Drive performance accountability for each direct report. Give specific and timely feedback to production employees.
Schedule production in a fluid and dynamic environment, in partnership with Management, efficiently and effectively while meeting the goal of customer expectation and best use of company resources (equipment, people, production rooms, etc.)
Work with Engineering and R&D to develop and implement an effective training program.
Oversee the set up of production jobs to ensure Production rooms are cleaned and line clearances are performed, in accordance with approved SOPs.
Ensure materials from the warehouse are issued on time and per schedule, and verify Operators are assigned appropriately to Production jobs.
Ensure that all Production operations are performed in accordance with SOP’s and current Manufacturing Practices.
Execute various process improvement projects in the Production area. Examples include implementing production metrics and improving quality in the packaging area.
Perform various other duties from time to time to support Company business objectives.
QUALIFICATIONS
Requires a scientific or engineering Bachelor’s Degree and a minimum of five (5) years of experience in direct production management in pharmaceutical or medical device environment, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Requires a minimum of 3 years in production scheduling in a dynamic and demanding environment.
