Project Manager Officer (PMO)
Department: Commercial Operations
Reports to: Head of PMO
Major Duties & Responsibilities
· This includes monitoring and timeline management of multiple devices development processes, regulatory submission, Build of production capabilities, pre-launch preparations, product launch.
· The Gantt project management – responsible for the construction processes of change for the various units engaged in the development, pre-clinical trials, clinical trials and production – planning schedules, manage resources and track performance
· This role is a highly visible position that involves working with the company’s middle and upper management of all departments to drive projects quickly and efficiently to submission and commercialization.
· Drives teams (In all disciplines) to create fit-for-purpose project plans with a priority on achieving timely deliverables to meet the business objectives.
· Develops and manages project timelines and monitors team adherence to project plan.
· Accountable for ensuring project plans/timelines are entered and updated in the company’s Gantt and timeline system.
· Develops the projects holistic view and plans and helps resolve cross-functional issues and roadblocks for the project.
· Flag to Head of PMO risks to timeline objectives.
· Supports team meetings including capturing action items/decisions and tracking completion of action items.
Competencies:
· Proven project manager who has experience leading cross-functional, complex programs and has a record of implementing project management tools, methodologies, practices and infrastructure.
· Strong medical device background with a degree in industrial engineering or similar.
· Ability to work in a team/matrix environment, to collaborate and coordinate with internal and external department staff at various levels, to influence others effectively and to handle multiple responsibilities, tasks and projects simultaneously.
· Quick learner who is proactive and takes initiative and has excellent communication and people skills.
· The role requires multidisciplinary skills and the ability to work on a few projects simultaneously.

Education and knowledge requirements:
Appropriate Eng. degree or higher degree in Mechanics, Biomed, Electronics or a science related field with 5-7 years of PMO experience in the medical device industry.
Vast experience managing full cycle of medical device product development – preferably from concept to successful launch.
Deep knowledge and experience of PM tools – MS project
Note: Any equivalent combination of education, training and/or experience that fulfills the requirements of the position may be considered.
Travel Requirements: 10%. International Travel required – Optional.
