As a QA Engineer at Easyway, you will:
● Work closely with our development team to deliver a high-quality product
● Review product requirements and technical design documents, providing timely and meaningful feedback
● Create comprehensive and well-structured test plans based on a deep understanding of our system
● Report bugs and clearly describe testing scenarios
● Define acceptance criteria for the product’s features and ensure that new features are tested properly to meet said criteria
● Work with the Customer Onboarding team to ensure a smooth onboarding experience for new customers
● Have the final say on whether a feature/project/fix is safe to deliver to our customers
● Grow both personally and professionally by constantly challenging yourself, questioning existing processes, and bringing in new ideas
Must-haves:
● At least 3-4 years of experience as a QA engineer at a startup and/or hi-tech company, working with web apps and large-scale multi-user SaaS platforms
● Knowledge of the software development life cycle and the different stages involved, including requirements analysis, design, development, testing, and deployment
● Proficiency in creating test plans, test cases, and test scripts, as well as documenting and tracking defects
● Familiarity with various testing methodologies such as regression testing, and automated testing
● Knowledge of SQL
● Native English speaker or full professional proficiency
● Excellent communication skills, written and verbal. You are able to convey information clearly and effectively, as well as able to understand technological instructions and requests from different stakeholders within the company %28CTO, R&D Team Lead, etc.%29
● EXTREMELY organized, thorough, and detail-oriented. You have an analytical mindset and a structured approach to challenges, and you are a master of time management.
● Accountability and ownership. You take initiative, are proactive and a self-starter, and take full responsibility for your tasks.
● Strong interpersonal skills, you work well both independently and as part of a team.
Preferred:
● A bachelor%27s degree in computer science, information technology, engineering, or a related field
● Proficiency in using testing tools and technologies, such as test management software, bug tracking systems, automated testing frameworks, and version control systems
● Knowledge of any programming language.
