The QA Engineer will work with the development team to implement QA procedures in an Agile environment.
Responsibilities include designing and implementing manual and automated tests to ensure product quality,
debugging and defining corrective actions, reviewing system requirements and tracking quality assurance
metrics such as defect densities and open defect counts.
This is a full time position based in Jerusalem, Israel.
Responsibilities:
Review requirements, specifications and technical design documents to provide timely and meaningful
feedback
Create detailed, comprehensive and well-structured test plans and test cases
Estimate, prioritize, plan and coordinate testing activities
Identify, record, document and track bugs
Perform thorough regression testing when bugs are resolved
Monitor debugging process results
Develop and apply testing processes for new and existing products to meet client needs
Liaise with internal teams such as developers and product managers to identify system requirements
Requirements:
Excellent English reading and writing skills
2 years of relevant experience
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Engineering, Computer Sciences or a related field – an advantage
QA certificate ISTQB- an advantage
Experience with Selenium and/or JMeter – an advantage
Experience working in a web environment
Experience in design and writing detailed test plans
Knowledge of software QA methodologies, tools and processes
Ability to write clear, concise and comprehensive test plans and test cases
Experience working in an Agile and Scrum development process- an advantage
Experience working within an organization with large and diverse product offerings
Ability to work with cross-functional teams in a matrix organization and work independently
Self-motivated and savvy problem solver with a passion for technology
Technical Requirements:
Ability to create and execute STP/STD
UI – Web test including test requirement for web user interface and test for server side of web
components
