Roles and Responsibilities:
– Research and Development of new products and subunits from concept to final product.
– Lead Mechanical design of a complex high speed turbo system Rotor Machinery Dynamics
design, definitions, measurements and calculations – as a must.
– Responsible for mechanical specification such as mechanical drawings, assembly instructions
and test procedures Preform CFD simulations
– Develop and design lab test fixtures and test methods.
– Manage design subcontractor and external suppliers.
– Take part in design experiments, lab tests and prototypes creation.
– Lead Design document creation, review and approve.
Requirements:
– B.Sc. in Mechanical Engineering.
– 5 or more years’ experience in mechanical design – multi-disciplinary mechanisms.
– Proven design experience of rotational dynamic systems, including relevant SW tools – Must.
– experience in turbo machinery environment – high advantage
– Strong technical approach, design creativity and problem-solving ability.
– Mechanical Design of subunits including complicated dynamic assemblies, drawings, tolerance
GD&T, thermal analysis, flow analysis, final elements study.
– Deep experience with SolidWorks, MATLAB and ANSYS tools
– Basic Electronics / Arduino based fixtures – major advantage.
– Familiarity with machining and elastomers injection/compression and plastic injection molding –
advantage.
– High level spoken and written English.
– Hand-on – assembly, lab tests, 3D printers, HW soldering.
