Position Summary:
The Solution Architect role assumes the primary responsibility for supporting the sales and customer outreach process from a technical perspective. As part of that role, you will be accountable for the RFx technical response lifecycles.
You will be working in conjunction with Sales and Business Development, Customers Program Managers and Product Managers in all the phases of the sales process – from evangelizing and demonstrating the technology to prospects, to defining and executing proof of concepts and answering any technical questions.
Job Responsibilities:
• Own the technical response for customer-driven bids and RFP/RFQs
• Provide technical support throughout the sales cycle to drive opportunities
• Interfaces with customers to determine technical requirements, projects feasibility and scope
• Create technical presentations and sales pitch and communicate them to potential customers
• Work closely with product managers, to bring in customers’ requirements into the company’s product roadmap
• Work closely with sales teams, customer program teams and product teams
• Actively participates in sales calls involving complex technical requirements
• Be able, in collaboration with other technical teams, to tailor and communicate architectures and custom solutions for specific customers’ needs
Qualifications:
• Deep technical background and understanding of complex architectures and systems
• Experience responding to functional and technical elements of RFPs
• Excellent communication, presentation and demonstration skills and a good understanding of the sales processes
• 3+ years of customer-facing role
• Proficient in English in speaking and writing
• Ability and willingness to work under pressure and meet deadlines
• Willingness to travel globally on a frequent basis
• Excellent interpersonal skills
• Background in embedded systems and cybersecurity – advantage
