Job Description:
Manage the activities of all functions involved in the purchasing, planning, warehousing and control of materials from the receipt of forecasting and replenishment needs to the delivery of the finished product into finished goods inventory and delivery of products to customer.
Manage warehouse and establish controls to ensure operating at the highest performance level based on key performance metrics and minimized supply chain risk.
Develop and continuously improve supplier programs.
Develop strategies, policies, procedures, and overall team to optimize value of the entire function in creating a world class materials management group.
Maintain compliance with all regulatory requirements and ethical standards related to procurement.
Participate in existing and new product planning processes to assure timely acquisition of materials to support product launches.
Participate in the design and implementation of the ERP system and optimize its use.
Lead negotiations efforts for cost reduction.
Develop and manage departmental budgets accordingly
Establishes annual goals and objectives, in coordination with corporate objectives, and manages performance to ensure attainment
Requirements:
* 5-10 years of direct management experience in a medical device or regulated environment. Proven leadership skills in building and managing large teams.
* 10 years of progressive experience in purchasing and materials management roles.
* Ability to communicate with C level Executive,
* Ability to plan and execute complex corporate projects related changes and implementation of new suppliers, subcontractors
* Fluent English (written and verbal)
* B.Sc. in industrial engineering from a well-known establishment, advanced certifications – an advantage.
Computer skills:
Experienced with MS Office
Full control in ERP
Comfortable in the dynamic atmosphere of a technical organization.
