The Supply Chain Manager is fully responsible for all materials planning, inventory management, operational purchasing, strategic procurement, and logistics activities, including all related subcontracting management (Local & Global) and reports to VP of Operations.
In this role, you will collaborate with the R&D, Business Development, Engineering, Quality and Information Technology teams and lead for more harmonization of Supply Chain management processes in order to increase efficiency and performance.
Position Responsibilities:
· Direct responsibility for the Operational & Strategic Purchasing, Inventory Management and Logistics functions.
· Managing inventory planning parameters (Safety Stock, Re-order point quantities, Lot Size, MOQ, Lead-time, etc.) such that the component and finished goods availability levels are in line with the monthly S&OP expectations.
· Tracking and managing the effectiveness of the planning parameters to rationally adjust safety stock levels and to continuously improve the overall planning parameter process.
· Tracking, analyzing and reporting the pertinent KPI’s, as well as, suggest and implement specific improvement activities (i.e. Must monitor actual customer service performance against the inventory position, and provide a summary of operation results for management).
· Develop, implement & maintain appropriate processes to ensure efficient and compliant supply chain processes.
· Support of Strategic Sourcing activities that include Commodity Management and Procurement Engineering.
· Willingness to travel (Domestic and Global)
Qualifications
· At least 5 years experience within a highly regulated industry, such as Healthcare, Automotive or Aerospace
· Bachelor/Master degree preferably in business, engineering, purchasing or supply chain management. MBA preferred.
· Good knowledge of ERP as it relates to MRP, inventory and materials management
· Experience in cross-cultural environment (projects, teams, management).
