In this role, you will oversee and manage the company%27s overall supply chain in order to maximize process efficiency and productivity. You will be responsible for all activities involved in the purchasing, planning, inventory, production, logistics, and distribution of the company%27s goods, to supply sales demand on time, with the required quality assurance, while minimizing COGS and logistics costs.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Plan and implement the overall supply chain structure
- Owen%27s key supply chain KPIs: COGS, OTD, QA
- Collaborate with Sales and Customer Service teams
- Build and maintain good relationships with local and international vendors and subcontractors
- Managing worldwide shipping, service, support and logistics and distribution, import & export
- Manage all existing inventory in the company
- Negotiates prices for raw materials and delivery with suppliers, vendors, and/or shipping companies.
- Maintains the required quantity of supplies and materials to secure production and deliveries.
- Suggest solutions for process improvements
- Managing a small team %282-3 people%29
- Manage product BOM files in the ERP system
Supply Chain Manager requirements and qualifications
- Previous working experience as a Supply Chain team leader/Manager for 3 years in a startup/Hi-tech company %28Purchasing, Planning, Logistics%29.
- Experienced with the management of international and local vendors/suppliers/subcontractors.
- BA in Economics / Bsc Engineering, industrial engineering preferred, or a similar relevant field
- Hands-on experience with supply chain management software %28such as SAP, Priority, etc.%29
- Critical thinking and problem-solving skills
