Responsibilities:
1. Analyze build plan to determine purchasing requirements, establish and maintain gross inventory targets, including creating action plans to minimize inventory exposure and for scrapping or mitigating excess and obsolete parts based on business information
2. Manage supplier relationships, including on-site visits, evaluating supplier performance and providing input on sign-off on vendor qualifications
3. Plan and execute cost reduction initiatives through pricing and delivery negotiations, as well as ensuring supplier compliance and efficiency
4. Manage issues preventing execution of the production plan. Issues include but are not limited to non-conforming materials or processes, material or equipment availability, competing unplanned requirements from R&D or other departments.
5. Execute supply chain related projects
Essential requirements:
Practical engineer or Bachelor's Degree – Mandatory
Minimum 5 years of related experience- Mandatory
Previous experience from the medical device industry- Mandatory
