An international leading telecom services company is looking for an English-speaking Support Team leader, highly motivated, creative, innovative and professional, to drive support activities for a long-term and full time position, based in Petach-Tikva.
The Technical Support team leader is responsible for providing advice, support and deployment for the products. The Technical Team Leader will be serving as the customers advocate for timely resolution of issues, as well as problem reproduction and escalation.
Our ideal candidate has strong management and leadership skills combined with hands-on experience building and running technical support team. You’re comfortable managing high profile customers and collaborating with R&D and sales teams. The role requires you to remain calm under pressure and solve problems in real time, using strong diagnostic processes and out-of-the-box thinking.

Job Requirements:
2+ years Team Management experience
Profound technical background, including:
2+ years of experience with technologies such as Linux/Unix
2+ years of experience with Networking, TCP/IP, DNS, TLS
experience with VMware, Hyper-V, AWS – advantage
Proven experience with servers, storage – advantage
Knowledge in Databases (MySQL, Oracle, Cassandra, REDIS) – advantage
Knowledge in telecommunications industry protocols: MAP/SIP/SS7/SIGTRAN/Diameter/SMPP – strong advantage
Knowledge in Tomcat, JS, Shell scripting, Ruby – advantage
High Service Orientation – MUST Project management experience – advantage
Experience with supporting large scale telecom customers
Able to travel and work in unconventional hours
