With a simple, safe, highly sensitive, inexpensive urine test, proprietary evidence-based novel platform will enable diagnostic level testing on a population screening scale. The company’s test will revolutionize the way Lung Cancer is detected and dramatically reduce the disease’s global human and financial burden. In the future, the same technology will be modified to allow detection of other cancer types and additional diseases, creating a unique multi-cancer screening platform.
Over the last year the Company achieved significant milestones including engagement with multiple leading medical centers across the globe for R&D purposes, generated compelling evidence on the specificity and sensitivity, deployed of fully operational system including a fully operational lab. Applied for all the above a patent granted in Israel and applies in US and PCT countries, a scientific paper ready for submission to a number of reputable scientific journals and applied for a Breakthrough submission in the FDA.
ROLE
The company is seeking a VP Business position to join the team. There is a huge opportunity for the company to establish itself as a market leader in addressing a very significant global unmet need around screening and earlier detection of lung cancer and various other cancer type resulting in truly transformation of cancer care and patients’ quality of life. The VP Business development will play a critical role in shaping and developing the Company’s business plan, business models, value propositions, global go to market strategy, and business development efforts.
The VP Business position will take a significant part in 3 key areas for the organisation:
1%29 Business Planning: leading the development of the company 5-year business plan, including definition of business models, value propositions, go to market strategy, pricing, sales projections, etc.
2%29 Business Development & Partnerships: drive hands-on business development efforts and establish commercial relationships with research and channel partners, distributors, and customers in target markets. This would include relevant healthcare service providers, insurers, intermediaries, etc.
3%29 Fund Raising Activity: be a significant part of the companies team in fund-raising activities, in line with the company financing requirements. This will include in defining the terms, investors materials development to engaging and a part of the negotiating with potential investors.
Requirements
1. Dexterous and strategic commercial leader with the ability to lead and grow revenues through BD and sales leadership, new propositions, and service development in an international healthcare context.
2. Able to test and develop new growth channels and opportunities for the organisation, across a set of possible levers to enhance revenues.
3. Successful track record in commercial roles, preferably in the healthcare industry
4. Ideally experienced in B2B2C environments or businesses with both B2B and B2C activity.
5. Experience in both early stage and scale up/mature companies
